I am so glad I did my research when I found some slides and old photos in my mom’s attic. I’d seen ads on TV for box service and was pretty shocked by not only the price but the turnaround time. I think box service was 6-8 weeks and I wanted them sooner for my mom’s birthday.
I probably spent almost two hours looking at options. When I found Nostalgic Media I liked that it was family run and had been in business for (I think it was) over 40 years. I called with a couple of questions and a person answered the phone right away.

I recently sent very old slides (70 years old) to have them transferred to digital format. Initially the order process seemed vague to me as there wasn’t any official form to indicate specific details of how I wanted the finished product. Because of this, I enclosed a detailed letter to address my order. I suppose a phone call would have accomplished the same thing. The finished product was exactly as I had wanted, the slides were returned in great condition, neatly organized from the original, old containers. The USB stick contained the slides according to my indicated order of folders. I corresponded a few times during the process and received prompt answers to my questions. I do believe that this service took longer than their original timeframe but I wasn’t in a rush. I would use Nostalgic Media in the future. They can be trusted with your most valuable slides. Their work was well done.

Had home movies from 1950’s, 1960’s….some of the original film was not in good condition or poorly exposed, but happy with what was able to be transferred. Received back quickly. Will be using again.
